In case of grid dropout the transformers are backed by several sources of electric energy. Full backup is ensured by several parallel or serially connected UPS units with standalone battery modules. Another energy backup is realized by diesel motor generators. The guaranteed backup time without refueling is always at least 24 hours. The motor generators are stationed in two silenced containers. When more diesel aggregates are switched on an automatic load transfer switch is used to synchronize their operation.
