Operational Requirements
According to initial plans, the core application for the State Environmental Fund’s New Green Savings program was to be hosted on the client’s own dedicated server. However, such a setup would not have met the demands for high performance, availability, and seamless scalability. The application for submitting requests within a time-limited window must be capable of serving up to ten thousand visitors simultaneously – and even more if needed.

Thanks to the cloud, New Green Savings easily withstood the initial onslaught of applicants – a feat that no traditional dedicated server could have guaranteed.
Trial Operation and Testing
Before launching live application submissions, it was critical to verify how the system would behave under heavy load. To achieve this, we first deployed the cloud server in a test environment. This allowed the development company, Neternity.cz, to run trial operations and conduct rigorous load testing, confirming that the infrastructure was fully prepared to meet the project's demanding requirements.

About the New Green Savings Program
Managed by the State Environmental Fund, the New Green Savings subsidy program primarily focuses on home insulation, window replacements, and eco-friendly energy solutions. Homeowners can receive up to 55% funding for insulation projects and up to a 75% subsidy for transitioning to green energy sources, with higher incentives awarded to those combining multiple energy-saving measures. For this specific phase of the program, a total budget of CZK 1.9 billion was allocated to applicants, running from April 1, 2014, until the funds were fully drawn.
