Master DC - Air-condition

In our datacenters we are using compressor cooling. The units are connected to several independent cooling circuits. Dry coolers on the roof ensure the so-called freecooling at low outside temperatures when a glycolic exchanger is used in the air-condition units instead of the compressor cooling circuit. This way we are able to save up to 60 per cent of electric energy. With respect to the low temperatures and the noise in the datacenter a separate section of the server room has been built for the customers where they can work on the configuration of their servers in a comfortable office environment.

Cool and Warm Corridors

The airflow direction in the server rooms contributes to perfect cooling by the help of a system of cool and warm corridors. Cool air is evenly distributed to the rack cabinets from the front through a double floor of 90 cm in height. The heated air is then being sucked back into the air-condition from the back of the rack via lower ceiling. For bigger heat loads we are introducing a system of cooling in covered cool corridors; for extreme loads our datacenters are equipped with manifolds so that additional cooling units can be connected.
