Data Backups
Organizing Backups
The customer gets assigned disk space on a back server to which he has access via standard protocols (ssh, ftp, sftp, settings...). The backup volume and intervals are solely the customers' competence. For Windows we recommend Cobian Backup. For Linux distributions automated backups via BackupPC (BackupPC - a web interface for the setting of backup parameters) can be used. The backups proceed in an automated way via ssh protocol. We usally set the servers to one complete backup and the others to difference backups, altogether three backups with a one-day interval. Changes in this setting are common, therefore consult your precise requirements with our administrators.

New Service - MasterDISK
Currently our company runs the brand new MasterDISK service. MasterDISK is a modern product for backup, archivation and data sharing. It is a shared data storage, accessible through web interface or it can be mapped as a virtual disk in the system. User and group administration, including the setup of rights for individual folders is part of the service. Service availability guarantee is a matter of course.
